The Footsteps of Ben Chifley: From Train Driver To Prime Minister

Follow the footsteps of Ben Chifley and learn about a young farm boy became a train driver and then went on to become one of the most loved Prime Ministers of  Australia.

Visit the Chifley Engine at the Bathurst Railway Station, the Bathurst Rail Museum housed in the Railway Institute building where he studied and taught, and Chifley Home, the home of Ben Chifley and his wife Elizabeth.

This tour covers content from Present and Past Family Life, the Past in the Present, Community and Remembrance and the Australian Colonies.

COST  $14 per student (GST FREE)

AVAILABILITY
9am – 4.30pm  weekdays.
Not available on Thursday.  Last session starts at 3pm.

SUPERVISION RATIOS
The supervision ratio is 1:10 for stage 1-3. Teachers and parents attend free of charge at these ratios. 1:15 stage 4-6
One carer per student with special needs will be admitted free of charge.
